Office of The Franciscan Experience

The mission of the Office of The Franciscan Experience is to provide mission-centered engagement opportunities to foster personal and academic success through new student transition initiatives, student connections, and faith and leadership development.

  • New Student Transition

We understand that starting a new college can be overwhelming and confusing at times. This office works collaboratively with our other departments to provide a seamless transition into FranU while connecting you to our campus through Wolf Pack Orientation and other new student and family initiatives. We are your point of base for any questions you have about anything FranU!

  • Student Connections

A Franciscan education is strongly relationship based, and studies show that students have a higher rate of success when they feel like they belong to the campus community. With the help of student leaders, faculty, and staff, we create intentional opportunities for our students to connect with different areas of campus to form community, be successful inside and outside the classroom, and develop themselves.

  • Faith & Leadership

Our part in fulfilling the University's mission to educate and form Franciscan servant leaders of all faiths, we provide opportunities for FranU students to develop their leadership skills influenced by our Franciscan tradition as Franciscan Peer Leaders and serving on the college team for The Franciscan Experience Summer Institute for high school students.
