University staff are trained to work with student data under the guidelines provided under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) a Federal law that protects the privacy of student education records and alumni records will be handled with the same respect.
Contact information is sometimes shared with Alumni Association class representatives. Class representatives are asked to sign a confidentiality form before the contact information is shared with them.
