Engage

Explore faith through engagement in community. FranU students have opportunities to develop deeper connections with their own faith and the faith of their community. Events such as Finding Common Ground, Agape Dinners, ministry at Student Government Association gatherings and Franciscan Nights allow students to come together for a common purpose and engage meaningfully. Other organizations like the Franciscan Student Fellowship and Catholic College Student Association provide opportunities for further spiritual, intellectual and social growth.

Finding Common Ground:

An interfaith gathering that is modeled after the story of St. Francis and the Sultan. A pot luck luncheon, featuring a community presenter, where students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to engage in dialogue on a global issue that impacts us locally.

Agape Dinners:

A Lenten event spread out over 3 weeks in the spring where students, faculty, and staff gather to informally discuss an issue that impacts us and how we can be the change and make a difference for the common good. Includes faculty and community presenters.

Ministry at SGA Events:

Whether it be Welcome Week or Franciscan Week, come find the Campus Ministry table at events to connect with other like-minded students

Franciscan Nights:

A gathering of students aimed at building community through fellowship on most Thursdays from 5-6:30 pm. Includes movies, game nights or prayer nights. See calendar for updates.

Franciscan Student Fellowship (FSR):

The purpose of the Franciscan Student Fellowship is to minister to the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University community. The organization is founded on the Franciscan philosophy, which seeks to extend the ministry of Jesus Christ through care, compassion, respect and understanding for all people.

Catholic College Student Association:
