Encounter

Experience a meaningful, personal encounter with the Lord through Bible study, attending mass, prayer groups, spiritual guidance and retreats. Our campus also offers a sacred space that students can use for prayer or reflection. The Walking with St. Francis Pilgrimage to Assisi/Rome is another way students connect with their faith.


    Bible Study

    Campus Ministry offers Bible Study for students to gather for prayer, reflection on scripture, and dialogue. Please check the university calendar for the most up-to-date schedule.


    For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

    Mass

    Mass offered Wednesdays at 11:30 at Rosary Chapel, located at OLOL Hospital, first floor of main entrance. Specialty Masses on campus throughout the year (see calendar for dates). Mass offered every Wednesday at 12:15 p.m. at The Chapel of St. Francis at La Verna.

    Prayer

    Retreats

    Campus Ministry offers opportunities for the students, faculty, and staff to deepen their spirituality through retreat experiences. Two retreats a year will be offered.


    For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

    The Busy Person’s Retreat is offered in the fall. It is ideal for students, faculty, and staff with busy schedules looking for spiritual experiences while on campus. It is designed to engage participants in personal scripture reflection and prayer, provides one-on-one spiritual direction for 30 minutes with a spiritual director, over a five-day period.

    Discovery I AM is offered in the spring. It is an opportunity for deeper spiritual reflection Students searching for a time to reflect on their spirituality through talks and guided reflection will benefit from this experience. It is designed to help students realize their gifts and their vocational call, while developing their spirituality.


    Pilgrimage to Assisi/Rome

    Walking with St. Francis Pilgrimage is an immersion into the life, spirituality, and culture of St. Francis and St. Clare. Students, faculty/staff travel for twelve days in Italy exploring the story of St. Francis in Assisi and Rome.

    Sacred Space

    The Reflection Oratory is interfaith room where student can come to experience God and have place of peace on Campus. Located in the Administration Building.
