The Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology degree is designed in two parts. Part one consists of 24 credit hours in the arts and science prerequisite courses and can be completed in semesters one and two. Part two begins upon enrollment to the clinical portion of the program and is 53 credit hours, designed to be completed in five consecutive semesters in which the student enrolls full-time.

Applications for the radiologic technology program are due on or before May 1 for the class beginning in August. A class of 28 may be accepted.

Radiologic technologists (RTs) are employed in hospitals, imaging centers, surgical facilities, physician offices, clinics and urgent cares. Technologists practice in diagnostic radiology, and with additional training, may practice computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and mammography.

Technologists can also practice in ultrasound, nuclear medicine and radiation therapy with additional formalized education and certification.
