Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University and Louisiana Community and Technical College System have created the Bonaventure Scholarship transfer agreement for students active in Phi Theta Kappa.

FranU and LCTCS are committed to providing more transfer opportunities to those Louisiana citizens who want to pursue a bachelorā€™s degree after completion of an associateā€™s degree.

PTK exists to recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students, and to provide opportunities for individual growth and development through participation in honors leadership, service and fellowship programing.

To become a member of PTK a student must be enrolled in a regionally accredited institution offering an associate degree program, have completed at least 12 hours of coursework that may be applied to an associate degree and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0.

The agreement formally recognizes that through increased transfer opportunities, LCTCS and FranU are collaboratively providing more ways for students to pursue their higher education dreams.
