Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University is set to receive $1.9 million in federal funds that will help the school expand how many students it can train for in-demand medical careers and continue efforts to make the campus more cohesive.
Work is set to start in September on renovating the first floor of the School of Health Professions building, said Tina Holland, president and CEO of FranU. Plans are to create about 4,000 square feet of additional classroom and lab space.
