Harassment & Sexual Offenses Policy

Consistent with the requirements of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the Clery Act, and the Violence Against Women Act (“VAWA”), the University prohibits discrimination based on sex in its educational programs and activities, including sexual harassment, and acts of dating violence, domestic violence, sexual violence (including sexual assault) and stalking. The University also prohibits any retaliation, intimidation, threats, coercion or any other discrimination against any individuals exercising their rights or responsibilities pursuant to these laws and institutional policy.

The University’s Harassment Policy and Sexual Offenses Policy are used to address complaints of this nature. These policies and the procedures for filing, investigating and resolving complaints for violations of this policy may be found in the Campus Safety Plan as well as the Student Handbook.
