The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at FranU is a 100% online program that educates and forms ethical and proficient business professionals who serve and lead in manners consistent with Franciscan values. Students in the online BBA program will learn the principles of business as well as gain hands-on experience through the business internship offered at the end of the degree program.

The online BBA program provides students with an understanding of major business functions, including accounting, management, supply chain, enterprise risk, entrepreneurship and health service administration. While the objective of the program is to help students develop a broad knowledge base in business practices, Bachelor of Business Administration students can tailor their education to their interests by choosing between three specialized academic tracks.

Online BBA Degree Tracks

Tailor your BBA major to your interests with specialized tracks in General Business, Management, or Health Administration.

The General Business track prepares students for the business industry through classes in interpersonal communication, corporate social responsibility and the business internship. The Management track provides a more comprehensive business education, with courses in leadership, management and entrepreneurship. Focused on business from a healthcare perspective, the Health Administration track covers topics such as human resources in health care management, policy in health care and managerial epidemiology.

The online BBA degree at FranU is designed to develop a solid understanding of business practices and principles while allowing students to pursue a focused track of study that aligns with their interests and goals.

Students will take classes in subjects such as professional interpersonal communication, business administration, business statistics, business law and ethics, professional public speaking, accounting and economics. What can I do with an online bachelor’s degree in business?

Business degrees are highly marketable, which means career opportunities span many industries and fields. Graduates of the online bachelor’s degree in business program can pursue careers as business managers, analysts, developers, purchasing managers, operations managers, entrepreneurs, account managers, finance professionals or accountants. Many students also pursue graduate degrees in business, such as master’s degrees in business administration.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the median annual wage for business degree holders is $65,000, and over half of total business degree holders are employed in occupations at a bachelor’s degree level. The BLS also reports that of the kinds of occupations business degree holders are employed in, 89% are employed in one of these six categories: business management and administration, general business, accounting, finance, marketing and market research and other occupations.
