Our Respiratory Therapy faculty members are highly-skilled professionals with extensive content expertise and a passion to teach students how to apply practical, clinical knowledge to their future careers.

Sue Davis. MA Ed, RRT-NPS

Sue Davis joined FranU in 2000 after 10 years teaching at Southeastern Louisiana University. She has served as Director of Clinical Education and is now the Program Directors. Sue has over 30 years’ experience as a Respiratory Therapist and is a Neonatal-Pediatric Specialist. Sue is active in the Louisiana Society for Respiratory Care serving on the Board and committees for many years. She has served on the Respiratory Care Committee of the Louisiana State Board for Medical Examiners. She was the 2016 recipient of the Terry Bourgeois Award of Excellence and the recipient of the Fall 2018 Franciscan Service Award at the University.

Quincy Futrell MPH, MRC, RRT

Quincy Futrell joined FranU in 2014. Quincy teaches in both clinical and class settings. He has 12 years of experience in critical care as a Respiratory Therapist. Quincy is active in the Louisiana Society for Respiratory Care serving on the Board and as President of the local chapter. Quincy has served as the liaison for the AARC COPD awareness campaign. Quincy is active in Big Buddy program as a mentor, volunteers as a basketball coach and in the homeless ministry. Quincy is the recipient of the SOAR award from Copiah Lincoln Community College. He was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi in 2019.
