FranU has developed a reputation of being the best in training their students for their future careers, which is important to me. After visiting a FranU open house and seeing the community built here, I knew FranU is where I belong,” said Psychology Major Ariel Viator, transfer student.

The minimum requirements for transfer students are a 2.0 GPA or better on all college-level coursework (excluding developmental/remedial courses) attempted at a regionally accredited institution, applicants who have earned less than 30 semester hours or less than 46 quarter hours of college coursework must meet the requirements for freshman admission, official transcripts from every college or university you’ve attended submitted to FranU and eligibility to re-enroll at the last institution attended.

Breann DeLee, who is majoring in Psychology with a minor in biology, transferred to FranU looking for a closer community and smaller class sizes. “I honestly think that transferring to FranU is one of the best things I have ever done. I have met the most amazing people, both other students and the faculty and staff. Everyone genuinely wants to help you succeed and they go out of their way to ensure you do.” DeLee continued, “I would tell anyone looking to transfer to FranU to consider it if they are looking for a closer community of people and more one on one attention from professors. For anyone looking to transfer in general, I would tell them to really look into why it is they want to transfer and what they are missing that they feel like they could use to get the most out of their education.”

Credit earned at an accredited college or university is transferable, provided the course is equivalent in content to the course offered at FranU. Time limits for transferability of some courses may exist. Coursework evaluated for transfer at the time the student makes formal application for admission to the University will not expire as long as the student is continuously enrolled.
