Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University's Library in St Francis Hall is designed to provide students, faculty, and staff with access to knowledge and resources that foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and innovation, serving as a hub for academic excellence.

The new University Library houses a collection of books, journals, and online resources covering a wide range of subjects. With an extensive array of digital resources, students have access to scholarly material at their fingertips, 24/7. Our dedicated team of librarians is committed to maintaining a collection that caters to the evolving needs of our University community, and are available to help patrons one-on-one, or in a classroom or workshop setting.

The University Library is proud to be a member of LOUIS: The Louisiana Library Network, providing our students, faculty and staff with access to Affordable Learning Support, Open Education Resources, a reciprocal borrowing program which includes other academic libraries in Louisiana, and an additional host of electronic resources totaling a twelve-to-one return on investment.
Students can engage in online research, access e-books and databases, and collaborate on projects seamlessly. To enhance the learning experience, we have incorporated quiet reading areas for individual study as well as collaborative learning spaces within the library. These spaces include study carrels, lounge seating, and group study rooms equipped with technology for immersive learning experiences.

"The opening of our new University Library marks a significant milestone in our institution's dedication to providing exceptional educational resources and fostering a vibrant intellectual community. We invite students, faculty, and staff to explore this state-of-the-art facility and take advantage of the wealth of knowledge it offers," said Lucas Huntington, co-director of FranU's library.
