The purpose of this course is to introduce the process of ethical decision making in the healthcare arena from the perspective of Physical Therapy practice. A variety of ethical issues that may impact the process of clinical decision making in the practice of physical therapy are addressed. Students are also introduced to the laws pertaining to the practice of physical therapy and healthcare delivery. Concepts of legal risk management are introduced.Â
